I’ve always been a huge fan of Stokke, from their iconic Tripp Trapp chair to their beautiful Xplory stroller, their enduring and practical pieces are designed to stand the test of time. And none more so than the gorgeous new range, Stokke Home. Pegged as ‘the small nursery with big possibilities’, the Stokke Home concept centers around modularity. The idea is that each piece is adaptable and alters to suit your living space and the changing needs of your child. Basically, as your little one grows from a newborn into a toddler and from a toddler into a young child, the pieces grow with them.
Stokke Home consists of a cradle, which, thanks to its slight size, is small enough to fit into the tiniest of bedrooms, a cot, which transforms into a bed, and a versatile changing table that converts into a desk. One of my favourite features is the textile roof cover over the cot/bed, which resembles a house, while the changing table-cum-desk is a marvelous invention.
Ultimately, what I really love about this collection is that it allows you to look into the future. When you’re expecting your first baby it’s difficult to see past those first few months, but Stokke Home allows you to plan ahead, creating the perfect space for your bub throughout their early years.
